Program Evaluator, Dr. Charles Rencher, chose to devote his life to education because of inequitable educational systems he witnessed and experienced as a child. Dr. Rencher attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a BA in Economics and Psychology and MA in Education. He chose to further his training at Michigan State University obtaining a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
His passion is developing strategies to increase equity in education through innovation and collaboration, which is why he has been an educator for over 2 decades. He has gained invaluable insight, experience, research and knowledge of educational systems in urban environments and he has had proven success in reaching the potential of traditionally marginalized populations.
Since 2016, Dr. Rencher has been excited to work with the Chandler Park Academy family to create globally competitive, career and college ready citizens.
These courses have been coordinated and packaged for you to streamline and indoctrinate Chandler Park Academy staff on district-wide strategies and initiatives to promote professional growth and development. Partnerships with Chandler Park Academy vendors and service providers elicit tools and product support training that assist instructors and auxiliary staff in implementing research-based best practices in education. Our hope is for educators to utilize these resources fully and implement any relevant strategies from this initiative.
